Under-eye filler cost in Singapore:
what decides the fee

Under-eye filler cost in Singapore is set by the product chosen and the quantity the anatomy calls for, whether the tear trough alone or the cheek as well is treated, whether earlier filler must first be dissolved, physician time and technique, and the review visit. Singapore's rules prevent price advertising, so a written quote follows examination.

Key facts
Fee basis
Written quote after examination of the tear trough, cheek and skin; no figure from a photograph
Product and quantity
A soft, low-hydrophilicity hyaluronic acid, in the amount the anatomy calls for, placed conservatively
Scope
Trough alone, or cheek support as well, changes the plan and its consumables
Earlier filler
Dissolving with hyaluronidase is a separate, itemised step, sometimes after ultrasound
Review
Adjustment is decided at review once swelling has settled, and the review is part of the plan

Why is there no under-eye filler price online?

The fee for under-eye filler is quoted in writing after examination because the plan cannot exist before it. Singapore's rules on healthcare advertising restrict how prices may be advertised, and the Singapore Medical Council expects fees to be made known before treatment, not used as an inducement to it. More practically, the under-eye is the one area where the examination routinely ends with no filler proposed at all, and a figure published for a treatment that may not be advised would mislead.

This page therefore sets out the determinants. The practice's general approach is on the page on how fees are quoted, and the steps from enquiry to written plan are described under what happens at a consultation.

What is being paid for in a tear trough filler fee?

Four things sit inside a tear trough filler fee. The product: a soft, low-concentration hyaluronic acid that draws in little water, chosen because the skin here is thin and shows everything. The quantity: the amount the anatomy calls for, placed deep on the bone, kept conservative on the day because swelling and the water the gel draws in alter the contour over the first days. The technique and time: cannula or needle entry, the physician's own hands throughout, and ultrasound where earlier product is suspected. And the review: the visit at which the settled contour is judged and any adjustment is decided.

Those four are itemised in the written quote so that you can see what a figure contains. A quote that names only a syringe count is describing a product, not a plan.

“Filler fills a hollow. It cannot lighten pigment and it cannot hide a bag.”

Does treating the cheek as well change the fee?

Yes. In some faces the trough is deep because the midface beneath it has descended or deflated, and the more logical place to add support is the cheek rather than the groove itself. That changes the product used, the quantity and the time, and it is quoted as a separate line. The general principles of placement and reversibility are covered on the dermal fillers page.

The reverse also happens: an examination can show that the trough is shallow and the cheek is the whole problem, in which case under-eye filler drops out of the plan and the fee is for the cheek alone.

What if earlier filler has to be dissolved first?

Earlier hyaluronic acid filler that sits too superficially, has migrated or has drawn in water is dissolved with hyaluronidase before anything new is placed. Dissolving is its own step, with its own assessment, sometimes an ultrasound scan to see where the product sits, and its own review once the area has settled. It is itemised separately, and fresh filler, if still indicated, is quoted as a later stage rather than bundled in.

Filler that is not hyaluronic acid cannot be dissolved, which changes what can be done and is part of why the product history is asked for before any quote is written.

When does the assessment say no filler, and what does that cost?

The examination ends without a filler plan when the darkness is pigment, when the fullness is a true bag of prolapsed orbital fat, when the cheek mounds already hold fluid, or when the skin is too thin and crepey to hide gel. Each of those is a different route, and the page on tear trough filler when not to sets them out. In that case the only fee is the consultation fee, which is stated when you book and is not offset against any treatment.

The same visit may propose something else instead, such as a pigment-directed plan or a skin-quality plan, which is quoted on its own terms.

How should you compare under-eye filler quotes in Singapore?

Compare what the figure contains. Ask which product, whether the cheek is included or excluded, whether a review and any adjustment are part of the plan, whether hyaluronidase is kept on hand and whether the person injecting is the doctor who examined you. A lower figure can describe a firmer product, a single pass with no review, or a plan that skips the question of whether filler belongs under your eyes at all.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. The written quote itemises the product, the quantity the anatomy calls for, whether the cheek is treated as well, any dissolving step and the review visit. A syringe count on its own describes a product rather than a plan.

The review is part of the plan and appears in the written quote, because the settled contour is judged once swelling has gone and any adjustment is decided then, not on the day.

Dissolving is itemised as its own step, with its own assessment and review, and sometimes an ultrasound scan. Any fresh filler is quoted as a later stage. Hyaluronidase acts only on hyaluronic acid filler.

Because the consultation is a medical examination that decides whether filler belongs under your eyes at all. It is charged as a visit in its own right, stated when you book, and it does not oblige you to proceed.

Which product, whether the cheek is in or out, whether a review and adjustment are included, whether hyaluronidase is available, and whether the doctor who examined you is the one injecting. The answers explain the difference more often than the figure does.
