VF Lift – Vertical Facelift is a non-surgical lifting protocol developed by Dr Sin Yong on the CLASSYS Volnewmer 6.78 MHz monopolar radiofrequency platform, with the energy applied along vertical vectors so that tissue is encouraged to sit higher rather than simply contract. It does not use focused ultrasound. It is customised for the face and for the body.

Key facts
Platform
CLASSYS Volnewmer, monopolar RF at 6.78 MHz, continuous water cooling (FDA K240248)
Vectors
Vertical: the heating pattern is laid out to lift, not only to tighten
Not
Ultraformer or any focused ultrasound; not a thread lift
Used for
Sagging face and jowls, brow and upper face, neck, body zones

Why vertical

Most tightening treatments heat a field and let the skin contract in every direction. VF Lift lays the energy out along vertical lines, so the contraction has a direction. In a randomised split-face trial in 22 Asian women, Volnewmer gave comparable lifting to Thermage FLX with significantly less pain (Roh, Ann Dermatol 2025). Dr Sin Yong is a CLASSYS Key Opinion Leader and has been invited to share the protocol internationally. Frequently Asked Questions
