Profhilo cost is set by which product the assessment calls for, Profhilo or the separate Profhilo Structura, the areas treated and the syringes needed to cover them, whether placement extends beyond the standard Bio Aesthetic Points to suit your face, how visits are planned, and whether it is combined with another treatment. Singapore's rules restrict how fees may be advertised, so no figure appears here.

A written, itemised quote after Dr Sin Yong has examined the skin; nothing is quoted from a photograph
Product
Profhilo and Profhilo Structura are separate IBSA products, placed in different planes for different jobs, and are never quoted as one
Syringes
A 2 mL syringe covers a set of Bio Aesthetic Points; face, neck and hands are each their own area with their own syringes
Points
The defined BAP points are kept as the safety framework; placement added for face shape or scarred skin is written into the plan
Visits

In brief

Profhilo cost factors are set at the examination rather than from a photograph. The first decision is which product is needed, because Profhilo and Profhilo Structura do different jobs in different planes. Each area, whether face, neck or hands, carries its own syringes, any placement beyond the standard points is written into the plan, and later visits are decided at review.

Why is there no Profhilo figure on this page?

Singapore's rules for medical advertising restrict how doctors may publish fees, and a figure given before examination would not describe your plan. Profhilo is an uncrosslinked hyaluronic acid in a hybrid complex, placed at defined points to act on the quality of the skin rather than to add volume. Whether it is the right product at all, and for which areas, is a judgement made on the skin in front of the doctor: a face whose real complaint is a hollow cheek or a receded chin will not be helped by it, however many syringes are used. The practice-wide rules are on how fees are quoted.

Is it Profhilo or Profhilo Structura, and why does that change the quote?

The first line on the quote is the product, and the two are not the same. Profhilo is placed intradermally at the Bio Aesthetic Points for skin quality: crepiness, dullness, fine surface lines, the neck and the backs of the hands. Profhilo Structura is a separate IBSA product formulated for the superficial fat compartments of the lateral face, placed deeper at a different set of points, and positioned by the manufacturer for adipose tissue restructuring rather than skin remodelling, on its own protocol. Early lateral-face hollowing where a conventional filler would be too much points to Structura; crepey, thin skin points to Profhilo.

Because they answer different complaints, a face can be quoted for one, the other or, less often, both in sequence. A quote that names only the brand without saying which product, where it goes and what it is meant to change is incomplete. Where the skin's shortfall is hydration rather than firmness, a different class of skin booster may be quoted instead.

“Profhilo is not a filler. If you have been quoted for it to fix a hollow, you have been quoted for the wrong product, whatever the number says.”

How do syringes, the BAP points and added placement set the quantity?

Profhilo is supplied in a 2 mL syringe carrying 32 mg of high- and 32 mg of low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. The manufacturer's protocol places it at a defined set of Bio Aesthetic Points per side, chosen for vascular safety and for the way the uncrosslinked product spreads from each deposit. The face is one area with its own syringes; the neck is another; the backs of the hands another. The number of areas on the plan is the plainest driver of the fee.

Dr Sin Yong keeps the defined points as the safety framework and adds placement according to the shape of the individual face, where the mid-face has deflated, where the jawline has softened, where asymmetry sits, and into scarred skin, which the standard protocol does not address. That modified BAP is written into the plan, and where it extends what a syringe has to cover, the quote says so.

How are visits planned, and what does the review decide?

The plan is set by phase rather than sold as a fixed course. An initial phase builds the effect, and any second placement is timed at review from how the skin is holding, not from a calendar fixed on the first day. Review is where the interval lengthens if the skin is holding well, or where a different class of booster is discussed, so it is written into the plan rather than treated as an extra.

Two other lines can appear. The consultation is a medical visit with its own fee, stated when you book. And where unknown or non-dissolvable filler has been placed in the area before, establishing what is already in the tissue comes first, sometimes with ultrasound, and is itemised separately. Physician time runs through every line, since Dr Sin Yong examines the skin and performs every injection himself.

What about combinations, and how should you compare quotes?

Profhilo answers how the skin is behaving; it does not answer where volume is missing or why tissue has descended, so a quote may pair it with a filler, with Rejuran for a different shortfall in the skin, or with an energy-based lifting treatment, each as its own line. The Profhilo vs Rejuran guide sets out why the two are not interchangeable.

Not on the quote: packages sold on the day, incentives for reviews, and any treatment the assessment does not support. When comparing with a quote from elsewhere, check which product is named, how many areas and syringes, whether placement beyond the standard points is planned and why, who performs the injection, and whether a review is included. A lower figure that leaves any of these out is describing a different plan. Recovery is on the skin booster aftercare page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Singapore's rules restrict how fees may be advertised, so no figure is given here. The fee follows which product the assessment calls for, Profhilo or Profhilo Structura, the areas treated and the syringes needed, whether placement extends beyond the standard points for your face, how visits are planned and whether it is combined with another treatment. A written quote follows examination.

They are separate products and are quoted separately. Profhilo is placed intradermally at the Bio Aesthetic Points for skin quality; Structura is placed deeper in the lateral fat compartments on its own protocol. Which is proposed, and why, is named on the written quote, and the assessment decides whether either suits your concern.

A 2 mL syringe covers a defined set of points, and each area, such as the face, the neck or the backs of the hands, is planned with its own syringes. Placement added for face shape or scarred skin can extend what a syringe has to cover. The number follows the areas on the plan, which is set after Dr Sin Yong has examined the skin.

The plan is set by phase and reviewed rather than sold as a fixed course. Any second placement is timed at review from how the skin is holding, and the written quote shows how that visit is treated, together with anything that is not included, so there are no surprises later.
