Lip filler prices in Singapore are set by the plan for your lips: which hyaluronic acid gel suits each goal, how much the proportions call for, whether earlier filler must be dissolved first, the doctor time a careful placement takes, and the review. Singapore's rules restrict fee advertising, so no figure appears here; a written quote follows an examination on Orchard Road.

Why is there no lip filler figure on this page?

There is no lip filler figure here because Singapore's rules on healthcare advertising restrict how fees may be published, and because a lip plan does not exist until the lips have been examined. The Singapore Medical Council expects fees to be made known to the patient before treatment, not used to draw patients to it.

Clinically, two pairs of lips asking for "a bit more" can need different gels, different amounts and different numbers of visits. One may need border definition with a firm gel; another needs height in the body of the lip with a softer one; a third has filler from elsewhere that has migrated above the border and needs dissolving first. A figure given before anyone has looked cannot describe any of these. What the lips need, and why, is set out in the lip filler guide; how the practice writes a quote is on how fees are quoted.

Lip filler cost in Singapore: the gel and the amount

The gel chosen for each goal and the amount the proportions call for are the two biggest factors in lip filler cost in Singapore. Every option here is hyaluronic acid registered with the Health Sciences Authority, which can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, but the firmness differs with the job.

GoalGelEffect on the plan
Border definitionA firmer, cohesive gel in small amounts along the vermilion borderSmall quantities, placed slowly; a heavy hand reads as a ridge
Height and projectionA soft to medium gel in the body of the lipAmount judged against the chin, teeth and the other lip
Philtrum and Cupid's bowA firmer gel in tiny amountsDetailed work rather than volume
Corners of the mouthA medium gel as supportMay be planned with the cheek and jaw where folds come from there
Hydration aloneA very soft, lightly cross-linked gelSuits a lip that is not thin; adds no visible height

One gel rarely serves two goals, so lips that need both border and height are often treated with two products or in two stages, and each is named on the quote. The amount follows Dr Sin Yong's proportion assessment, described in Rekindling the Lips: border before body, then support at the corners and philtrum, with old photographs used where lips have thinned with age. A syringe is how the product is packed, not how the lips are planned, so nothing is placed to finish one.

“I quote the lips you have, not a syringe. Sometimes the plan starts by taking filler away.”

Dr Sin YongOn how lip filler fees are set

Does earlier lip filler change the fee?

Yes. Lip filler done elsewhere that has migrated above the border, formed lumps or built up over several visits is assessed before anything new is planned, and dissolving it with hyaluronidase is a separate piece of work on the quote. Adding filler over migrated product tends to make a lip shelf or a blurred border worse, so subtraction comes first when the examination shows it is needed.

Where the type of earlier filler is unknown, it is assessed first and the plan waits until it is understood. Some lips need dissolving and a pause before any new filler; others need no new filler at all once the excess is gone. The process is described on lip filler dissolving, and what migration looks like is on lip filler migration.

Doctor time, the labial arteries and the review visit

Lip filler is placed by Dr Sin Yong personally, in small amounts with fine needles, because the arteries of the lip run close to where filler goes. A 2015 cadaver study of 60 half-faces found the superior labial artery running along the vermilion border of the upper lip at a depth of about 3 mm, and absent on one side in 6.7 per cent; a 2019 literature review of the labial arteries concluded that their path, presence and depth vary widely between people. Careful placement at that pace takes physician time, and the fee reflects it.

The plan is usually staged: a conservative first treatment, moulded at the time, then a review once swelling has settled, when the shape is judged again and anything further is decided. That review is written into the quote as part of the plan rather than sold afterwards. Cold sore history, allergies and medicines are checked first, and may change the preparation. Treatment takes place at the clinic on Orchard Road, Singapore.

How to compare lip filler quotes, and what is not charged

Two lip filler quotes can be compared once the product, the amount for each goal, who injects and what the review covers are named. A per-ml figure tells you how much gel is packed, not which gel, where it goes or whether it suits the goal. Before booking anywhere, it is reasonable to ask:

Sometimes the right answer is not filler. An upper lip that disappears on smiling may suit a lip flip, which adds no volume, and a long upper lip is not shortened by filler at all. Not on a quote at this practice: packages sold on the day, repeat treatment sold in advance, and lips added to a plan the examination did not support. The option of no treatment carries the consultation fee and nothing else.

Frequently Asked Questions

Singapore's rules restrict fee advertising, so no figure is given here. Lip filler cost depends on the hyaluronic acid gel chosen for each goal, the amount your proportions call for, whether earlier filler has to be dissolved first, doctor time and the review once swelling settles. Dr Sin Yong gives a written, itemised quote after examining the lips, before anything is agreed.

Lip filler prices in Singapore usually differ because the quotes describe different treatments. One may use a softer or firmer gel, more or less of it, or leave out a review; another may be delivered by someone other than the assessing doctor. Compare the product by name, the amount for each part of the lip, who injects and what follow-up is included, rather than the headline figure.

At this practice lip filler is quoted as a plan, not per syringe or per ml. The syringe is how the gel is packed; the plan names the gel for each goal, the amount the proportion assessment supports and the review. A per-ml figure elsewhere says nothing about which gel is used or whether the amount suits your lips.

Yes. Migrated, lumpy or excess lip filler is assessed first and dissolved with hyaluronidase where needed, and that is itemised separately from any new filler. Adding filler over migrated product tends to worsen the shape, so dissolving often comes first, sometimes with a pause before new filler. Some lips need no new filler once the excess is gone.

For some lips, yes. A lip flip uses a tiny dose of botulinum toxin to roll the upper lip outward slightly, which suits a lip that disappears on smiling, and it adds no volume. Lip filler adds volume and definition and can be dissolved. They treat different problems, so the choice follows the examination rather than the cost of each.

At this practice the review is written into the quote as part of the plan. Lip filler is placed conservatively first and the settled shape is checked once swelling has gone down, when anything further is decided. Further filler is not sold in advance; if more is suggested at review, it is quoted then, with the reason.

No. Lip filler is planned after examination and quoted in writing as its parts: the gel, the amount, any dissolving and the review. Packages and repeat treatments sold in advance are not offered, because the amount should follow what the lips need. A plan can be taken home, and no decision is needed at the first visit.
