What Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Can Do
Nose filler can: raise a flat nasal bridge, camouflage a small dorsal hump by raising the bridge above it, lift a slightly drooping nasal tip, and improve minor asymmetry. The procedure takes 20–30 minutes. Results are visible immediately and typically last 9–12 months.
What It Cannot Do
Nose filler cannot reduce nasal width, make a large nose physically smaller, correct breathing problems or achieve the structural change of surgical rhinoplasty. It is appropriate for subtle refinement — not a substitute for rhinoplasty when significant structural change is needed.
Why the Nose Is Highest-Risk
The nose contains a dense arterial network anastomosing with the ophthalmic artery. Injection into or adjacent to these vessels can cause skin necrosis or, in rare cases, vision loss via retrograde embolism. Cases of serious complications from nose filler have been reported in Singapore — primarily from sharp needle injection, high injection pressures, and injectors without adequate anatomical knowledge.
Dr Sin Yong's Safety Approach
All nose filler is performed using fine cannula technique — avoiding the vascular zones identified through anatomical study. Volumes are conservative and staged across sessions where significant augmentation is desired. Hyaluronidase is always immediately available. Dr Sin Yong will decline to perform nose filler where risk is unacceptably high — including patients with previous rhinoplasty, very thin nasal skin, or unrealistic volume expectations.
Only HA Filler for the Nose
Only hyaluronic acid fillers are used for the nose at IN Eternity Clinic — their reversibility with hyaluronidase is a critical safety advantage in this high-vascular region. High-viscosity, low-water-absorption HA maintains a defined nasal shape without spreading.

Safe when performed by a physician with thorough anatomical knowledge using cannula technique. It carries the highest complication risk of any facial filler due to nasal vascularity. Risk is significantly reduced by cannula technique, conservative volumes and appropriate patient selection.
9–12 months. The nose is a mobile area with relatively thin soft tissue, which may accelerate metabolism compared to areas like the cheeks or chin.
No. Filler adds volume — it cannot reduce nasal size or width. Some patients feel their nose looks smaller after filler because improved bridge height creates better proportions, but the actual nose size does not change.
HA nose filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase within minutes. Results can be partially or fully reversed. This is a primary reason HA is preferred over non-reversible alternatives for the nose.
