Plump, Smooth and Gloss Our Lips
Our lips are the doorway towards our innermost thoughts. Whenever we interact with others, inevitably the lips are a focal point during the conversation. Our facial expression draws the lips to form a shape to convey the mood we feel, on top of the words uttered.
As we age, our lips become less ideal and it is common to see thin lips with the loss of definition and volume. All these occurs through a series of changes to our muscles, bone structure and facial fats that causes our lips to involute and thin out.
From kylie’s lip kit to visits for lip fillers, there are a variety of ways to achieve a picture-perfect sexy lip quickly or temporarily.
Why do so many people want bigger, full lips?
It’s not just because of Kylie Jenner and Instagram models; science has a theory that dates back much further.
The desire for plump lips is about more than just thickness; it is also about hydration, health, and smoothness.
According to a 2009 study, women with bigger, fuller lips seem so youthful than their biological age.
So, it’s not surprising that achieving full lips has become the latest aesthetic trend in a world obsessed with wellness.
The good news is that you can get fuller lips! The most direct way to improve volume of the lips is to use fillers!
When we use lip fillers, we use a light filler created specifically for the lips.
The light filler blends in nicely with the lips and gives a soft and subtle enhancement to bring up the contours of the white lip and well as volume of the red lip, to give an overall rekindling effect to the lips again!
Which Areas of Lips To Rekindle?

Dr Sin Yong's Recommendations
To remove unwanted lines around the mouth, I like to use The Time Freeze Laser.
To restore volume to the lips, I use Kysse to give the upper and lower lip volume before adding the definition to them. The added pearls like effect to the centre of the upper lip and sides of the lower lip completes the lips with a full and luscious appearance.
Although there are different fillers and lip implants available, Dr Sin Yong highly recommends hyaluronic acid lip fillers because to their safety and convenience of use.
Because of their temporary effects, injectable hyaluronic acid fillers are popular. The hyaluronic acid fillers are preferable to other types of fillers as they can be ‘melted’ if there is an issue or if the patient doesn’t like the results. On the other hand, implants will require surgery and can also leave a scar.
