Sculptra cost is set by the number of vials your face calls for, which only an examination can establish: the extent of the deflation, how many regions are planned, the dilution chosen for each, and how the plan is staged with review. Singapore's rules restrict how fees may be advertised, so no figure appears here. Dr Sin Yong gives a written, itemised quote after assessing you on Orchard Road.

Sculptra cost factors explain why no fee is quoted from a photograph or a message. The vial count follows the examination: how widespread the deflation is, face size, skin thickness and the dilution chosen, with deliberate under-correction first and further placement decided at review. Any ultrasound scan or dissolving of earlier hyaluronic acid filler appears as its own line on the written quote.
Two reasons. Singapore's rules for medical advertising restrict how doctors may publish fees, and a number given before an examination would describe a plan that does not yet exist. Sculptra is poly-L-lactic acid, a collagen biostimulator rather than a filler: it is reconstituted from a powder, placed as a dilute suspension, and the skin builds collagen around the particles over the months that follow. How much a face needs cannot be read from a selfie, and it cannot be taken back once placed, so the plan, and therefore the fee, is built after assessment rather than quoted from a menu. The practice-wide rules are on how fees are quoted; this page applies them to one product.

The product is supplied by the vial, and the fee follows the number of vials the plan calls for. That number is an outcome of four things found at examination: the extent of the volume loss, since a face that has deflated across the temples, mid-face and lower face needs more than a face with one hollow region; face size and skin thickness, because the same degree of deflation under thicker skin takes more product to influence; the dilution chosen for each region; and staging.
Staging matters more with Sculptra than with any hyaluronic acid product. Because the collagen response continues after you leave, Dr Sin Yong under-corrects deliberately at the first visit and decides any further placement at review, from what the skin has actually produced. The total may therefore be fewer vials than a course fixed in advance would assume, and it is never more than the review supports.
“A vial count quoted before I have examined you is a product, not a plan. The skin decides how many vials, and it tells us at review.”
Dr Sin YongOn how Sculptra is quoted
Sculptra is planned for broad, structural deflation: the temples, the mid-face and the pre-jowl and lower face in a face with good skin thickness. It is not placed in the lips, the tear troughs or anywhere a nodule would show, so those areas never appear on a Sculptra quote; where a single discrete temple hollow is the only finding, a dissolvable hyaluronic acid filler is used at this practice instead, for the reasons under temple filler. The number of regions on the plan is the plainest driver of the fee.

Dilution is the quieter one. The powder is reconstituted with sterile water, and Dr Sin Yong plans the dilution region by region rather than at one setting for the whole face, because the temple, the mid-face and the pre-jowl area are different depths and different tissues. Two faces with the same regions on the plan can therefore carry different vial counts, which is why the quote names the regions rather than a single whole-face figure.
| Finding at examination | Effect on the plan | Effect on the fee |
|---|---|---|
| One region of diffuse deflation | Single region, dilution set for it | Fewest vials; review decides any more |
| Temples, mid-face and lower face all deflated | Several regions, each with its own dilution and plane | More vials across the regions, still staged |
| A single discrete temple hollow | Hyaluronic acid filler considered instead | A filler quote, not a Sculptra quote |
| Laxity or a descended jowl rather than deflation | Energy-based lifting assessed instead | A different treatment; Sculptra may not be advised |
Beyond the vials, a written quote itemises the other things that take time or consumables. The consultation is a medical visit with its own fee, stated when you book. Where the face has had injectables before, an ultrasound scan of what is already in the tissue comes first, because layering a non-dissolvable product over unmapped material is what makes later correction hardest; any dissolving of earlier hyaluronic acid filler is a separate, itemised step. Lumps or heaviness from earlier biostimulator usually call for subtraction rather than more product, assessed under filler correction, not costed as Sculptra.
Physician time is part of every line, because Dr Sin Yong plans and places the product himself. The review visit is written into the plan, since it is where the second placement, if any, is decided. Where Sculptra is combined with VF Lift – Vertical Facelift for laxity that volume cannot address, the combination is quoted as its own line. Which biostimulator is quoted at all is decided on the collagen biostimulators guide.
Not on the quote: packages sold on the day, incentives for reviews or referrals, and any treatment the assessment does not support; the consultation can end with the advice to wait, to use a reversible filler, or to look at a lifting treatment.
When comparing with a quote from elsewhere, compare what is included rather than the headline figure. A lower number may describe fewer vials than the face needs, a single whole-face dilution, no scan of earlier filler, a therapist rather than a doctor, or no review visit. With a product that keeps building after you leave and cannot be dissolved, the review is the point at which the plan is checked against the face. Massage and recovery instructions are part of the treatment, not an extra, and are on the Sculptra aftercare page.

Bring records of any earlier filler or biostimulator; the scan comes before any Sculptra plan. How consultations work.

There is no fixed number for a face. Diffuse deflation across the temples, mid-face and lower face needs more than one region, and face size, skin thickness and dilution change how far each vial goes. Dr Sin Yong under-corrects at the first visit and decides any further placement at review, so the total is an outcome of the plan rather than a count chosen in advance.
It can. Where the face has had injectables before, an ultrasound scan of what is already in the tissue comes first, and any dissolving of earlier hyaluronic acid filler is itemised as a separate step. Earlier biostimulator that has lumped or migrated is assessed under filler correction rather than costed as Sculptra, and it may rule Sculptra out.
A lower figure may describe fewer vials than the face needs, one dilution for the whole face, no scan of earlier filler, a therapist rather than a doctor placing it, or no review visit. Compare what is included, who performs it and what the review covers, because the product keeps building after you leave and cannot be dissolved.
