Fat freezing, or cryolipolysis, cools a pinchable fold of fat between cooling panels so that some of its fat cells undergo programmed cell death and are cleared gradually by the body. Applicator fit and cooling cycles: the consumables behind the fee
The applicator is matched to the size and shape of each fold, and how many cooling cycles an area takes depends on how well the fold fits it, so applicator choice and cycle count together set the consumable part of the quote. What happens on the day
The fold is drawn into the applicator and cooled under monitoring. Strong cold, pulling and pressure usually settle into numbness, and the area is massaged afterwards, because chilled tissue is stiff. Redness, swelling, bruising and tenderness are expected and normally settle; altered sensation can last for a period before it resolves.
