Most things people worry about after a treatment are expected and settle on their own. A few are not and need the same day. This page tells you which is which, who to contact, and what to send, so you are not guessing at 10pm.

Contact the clinic the same day, or go to an emergency department, if you notice

How to contact the clinic

WhatsApp or call +65 8023 7170 (Mon–Fri 10am–8pm, Sat 11am–3pm). Send a daylight photograph of the area, the treatment and date, and what has changed since. Dr Sin Yong reviews every concern himself and will see you the same day where a clinical sign is present.

Outside clinic hours, do not wait for a reply for the signs above: go to the nearest hospital emergency department and tell them the product, the date and the clinic. Message the clinic as well so the record is complete.

Usually expected, and worth a message rather than an emergency

The day-by-day tables on each aftercare guide set out what is expected for your treatment, and each guide has its own red-flag list at the top.

Treated elsewhere?

You can still be seen. Bring the product name and date if you have them. Filler and fat-graft problems are mapped on ultrasound before any decision; see treatment gone wrong and second opinion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Pain out of proportion to the injection, a dusky, blotchy or white patch of skin, a net-like purple pattern, or skin that becomes cold, together with any change in vision or new headache. These are urgent: message and call +65 8023 7170 at once during clinic hours, and go to a hospital emergency department if the clinic cannot be reached or vision is affected.
Redness, warmth, mild swelling and darkening of treated spots for a few days are expected. Blistering that spreads, pus, increasing pain after day two, or a grey-white patch are not, and should be reported the same day.
For anything affecting vision, breathing or a spreading colour change, go to the nearest emergency department and tell them what was injected or treated, when, and by whom. For everything else, message +65 8023 7170 and it will be answered when the clinic opens.
Yes. Bring whatever record you have of the product and date. Filler problems are mapped on ultrasound before anything is done.
