Dr Sin Yong was invited as a HIRONIC Global KOL Speaker at the HIRONIC VVIP Partners Meeting 2026 — held on 20 March 2026 at The Salon, Park Hyatt Seoul — presenting on 3D Facial Reconstruction using combined RF and HIFU modalities for lifting, sculpting and tightening without surgery.

The HIRONIC VVIP Partners Meeting 2026 was held to celebrate HIRONIC's 20th anniversary, bringing together the company's most distinguished international Key Opinion Leaders, clinical educators and regional partners from across Asia, Europe and the Americas. The evening, hosted at the prestigious Park Hyatt Seoul, combined clinical lectures, case presentations and a formal award ceremony.
HIRONIC — one of Korea's leading aesthetic device manufacturers — is known for its portfolio of HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound), RF (Radiofrequency) and combined energy platforms. Dr Sin Yong holds Global KOL status with HIRONIC and has integrated HIRONIC technologies into his clinical protocols for non-surgical facial lifting and body contouring.
"The combination of RF and HIFU within a single 3D Facial Reconstruction protocol allows us to address laxity at multiple tissue depths simultaneously — SMAS-level mechanical lift with focused ultrasound, and volumetric collagen and adipose remodelling with radiofrequency. The results compound rather than compete."
Dr Sin Yong presented on his 3D Facial Reconstruction protocol — his clinical framework for addressing facial ageing at all three structural depths simultaneously using a combination of RF and HIFU modalities. The presentation drew on real patient outcomes from his practice in Singapore, with before-and-after photography demonstrating the results of this combined-energy approach.
Depth 1 — Deep Structural Lifting (SMAS & Fascial Layer)
High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) delivers mechanothermal energy to the SMAS-equivalent layer — the structural foundation of the face. At this depth, HIFU creates micro-coagulation zones that trigger a mechanical tightening and repositioning of descended fascial tissue. The result is a structural lift of the midface, jowl and jawline that mirrors, in a non-surgical way, what a SMAS-plication facelift achieves surgically.
Depth 2 — Mid-Layer Volumetric Remodelling (Adipose & Collagen)
Volumetric Radiofrequency (RF) energy is applied at the mid-dermis and subdermis to stimulate collagen neogenesis and adipose stem cell activity in areas of deflation. In patients with hollow temples, flat cheeks and periorbital volume loss, this mid-layer RF stimulation triggers gradual tissue regeneration — physically rebuilding the structural volume that has been lost over time. This reduces dependence on injectable fillers.
Depth 3 — Surface Tightening & Skin Integrity (Dermis)
Surface-level RF energy addresses dermal thinning, fine lines and skin laxity — improving skin texture, increasing skin integrity and complementing the deeper structural work. Across all three layers, the protocol is calibrated zone by zone based on each patient's individual ageing pattern rather than applied uniformly across the whole face.

One of the clinical cases presented was a 40-year-old male patient presenting with three concurrent lower-face concerns: sagging jowls (classified as Type 2/3 laxity), excess lower face volume and puffiness, and a double chin with submental fat accumulation. This patient profile represents a common combination of tissue descent, excess volume and submental redundancy that many male patients seek to address without surgery.
Using the 3D Facial Reconstruction protocol, Dr Sin Yong applied HIFU at the SMAS level for structural jowl lifting, RF for lower face tightening and volumetric remodelling, and targeted submental energy to reduce the double chin. The results shown demonstrated visible improvement in jawline definition, reduction in lower face puffiness, and meaningful reduction of the submental fullness — without anaesthesia, incisions or downtime.
"For male patients especially, naturalness is paramount. The goal is never to feminise or over-refine — it is to restore the definition that existed ten years ago and return the face to its own best version of itself."
A core theme of Dr Sin Yong's presentation was the clinical rationale for using RF and HIFU in combination rather than as standalone treatments. While HIFU provides the mechanical SMAS-level lift that RF cannot achieve at depth, RF provides the volumetric collagen and adipose remodelling that HIFU cannot match in the mid-dermis. Used together in a structured, zone-by-zone protocol, they address the full spectrum of facial ageing — descent, deflation, and surface deterioration — rather than only one dimension of it.
This approach also allows Dr Sin Yong to calibrate energy delivery per zone: a patient with predominantly jowl laxity and hollow temples may receive deeper HIFU in the jowl zone and more RF in the temporal zone, while a patient with surface laxity and fine lines may have the energy distribution reversed. Zone-specific calibration, rather than uniform full-face treatment, consistently produces more natural and impactful results.

The evening also marked HIRONIC's milestone 20th anniversary, celebrated under the theme "Stay Beautiful." The gathering brought together aesthetic physicians, trainers, and industry partners from across Asia, Europe and beyond — representing the global reach of HIRONIC's clinical education and device distribution network over two decades.
Dr Sin Yong was among a small group of HIRONIC Global KOLs invited to present clinical lectures as part of the VVIP Programme — a distinction that reflects the depth of his clinical relationship with HIRONIC and the outcomes he has achieved using HIRONIC technologies in his Singapore practice.

At the close of the evening, HIRONIC's leadership formally recognised each of the invited Global KOL speakers with a presentation gift. Dr Sin Yong received a traditional Chinese scroll painting — a gesture of respect and recognition for his clinical contributions and his partnership with HIRONIC across his aesthetic medicine practice.
Dr Sin Yong has held Global KOL status with HIRONIC for several years. HIRONIC's energy-based platforms form part of the device portfolio at his Orchard Road practice in Singapore, and are used within the 3D Facial Reconstruction and VF Lift protocols he has developed and trains other physicians in across the APAC region.
His invitation to the HIRONIC VVIP Partners Meeting 2026 as a clinical lecturer — alongside other elite international aesthetic physicians — reflects the confidence HIRONIC places in his clinical outcomes, patient communication approach and contribution to the evidence base for combined RF+HIFU aesthetic medicine.
"Being recognised as a HIRONIC Global KOL, and being invited to share the stage at their 20th anniversary celebration in Seoul, is a privilege that reflects years of clinical work and patient results. It represents not just a personal honour but a recognition of Singapore’s place in the international aesthetic medicine community."
