What Are Skin Boosters?
Skin boosters are injected into the superficial dermis — using hyaluronic acid (HA), polynucleotides (PDRN), or exosomes — to improve intrinsic skin quality: hydration, firmness, elasticity and luminosity. They differ from structural fillers in that they do not add volume or alter contour.
Profhilo — NAHYCO Technology
Profhilo uses NAHYCO hybrid HA technology — a stabilised complex of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid that spreads through the dermis from five anatomically mapped BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) injection sites per side. It stimulates four types of collagen (I, III, IV and XVII) and adiponectin. Dr Sin Yong's protocol: 3 sessions × 4 weeks apart using the Customised BAP Injection Technique.
Rejuran — Polynucleotide PDRN
Rejuran uses polynucleotides (PDRN) derived from salmon DNA to stimulate fibroblast activity, reduce inflammation and promote collagen synthesis. Particularly effective for skin repair, fine line reduction and improving thin, stressed or post-laser skin.
Exosome Skin Boosters
Exosome-based injectable treatments represent the newest generation. They deliver growth factors, cytokines and signalling molecules from stem cell-derived exosomes, stimulating a regenerative response. Used for skin renewal, post-laser recovery and as adjuncts to other treatments.
Which Skin Booster Is Right for You?
The right skin booster depends on your skin's specific needs. Profhilo excels at deep hydration, firmness and four-collagen stimulation. Rejuran is preferred for repair and anti-inflammatory benefit. Exosomes are most effective as regenerative adjuncts. Dr Sin Yong assesses your skin and recommends the appropriate product at consultation.

The choice depends on the specific concern. Profhilo for bio-remodelling and collagen stimulation. Rejuran for texture and acne scar management. Juvederm Volite for targeted hydration. Exosome-based boosters add regenerative growth factor activity.
Initial course: 2–3 sessions, 4 weeks apart. Maintenance: every 6–9 months.
Multiple small injections across the face. Topical anaesthetic cream significantly reduces discomfort. Most patients describe mild to moderate sensation over 20–30 minutes.
Yes — skin boosters pair well with HIFU, Thermage and filler. A 2-week gap is typically recommended between energy device treatment and injection.
